Included Lingo Echo feature catalogue
These capabilities are included in the Lingo Echo service rather than sold as separate moderation, game or overlay add-ons. Some require the relevant platform permission, a live channel, moderator status or an installed OBS overlay. The 30-day trial provides access without a credit card; continued service uses the published 30-day access price.
More than chat translation: Lingo Echo localizes giveaways, shoutouts, game instructions, winner messages, and many interactive stream experiences across its core localized languages. Localized shoutouts and supported minigames also work with connected Kick communities.

Multilingual AI moderation without a separate add-on
Lingo Echo can evaluate eligible Twitch chat messages for sexual content, hate, harassment, self-harm and severe violence, then delete messages crossing the selected threshold. Streamers choose one of five strictness levels. Separate protections cover viewer-selling spam, suspicious Discord contact pitches and gambling offers. Broadcaster, moderator and recognized commercial-bot messages are excluded, and Twitch moderator permission is required for deletion. Discord translation is supported, but the Twitch moderation card does not moderate Discord messages.
What Lingo Echo includes
Lingo Echo removes the hosting and API-key work and adds Kick, Discord, summaries, moderation and audience interaction.
When Zhanth Twitch Translation Bot may fit
Technical Twitch users wanting two translation providers and chat-controlled translation modes.
Our assessment
Prepared by: the Lingo Echo product team, which builds and operates a live translation bot. Research status: documentation-based comparison using public first-party sources. This is not presented as a hands-on test of Zhanth Twitch Translation Bot.
Criteria used: translation surface, platform coverage, public pricing, renewal model, language claims, moderation, streamer automation and audience interaction.
Lingo Echo fit
Lingo Echo is designed for streamers who want chat translation alongside moderation, automation and audience interaction across Twitch, Kick and Discord.
When Zhanth Twitch Translation Bot may fit
It can use DeepL with Google Translate as a fallback and includes 7TV-aware filtering and chat-controlled modes.
Main tradeoff
The operator must configure Twitch and two translation providers and run the service; the public repository is a small, single-commit project.
Choosing between them
Choose Zhanth's bot for provider fallback in a self-hosted setup. Choose Lingo Echo for managed operation and wider platform and feature coverage.
How setup differs
Lingo Echo is configured by the streamer. After Twitch authorization, the channel owner chooses translation languages and can connect Kick and Discord from the same dashboard. Zhanth Twitch Translation Bot is described above according to its own delivery model, which may require a different installation or viewing workflow.
Who sees the translation
Lingo Echo posts eligible translations into the shared chat. The streamer, moderators and viewers can therefore follow the same translated conversation without every viewer installing a browser extension. Viewer-side caption and extension products may instead keep the result on one viewer’s screen.
Automatic and requested translation
Automatic detection handles eligible chat messages that differ from the selected channel language. Bidirectional mode can translate between two chosen languages, and the !translate language text command can request a specific translation. Commands, links, emotes and selected users or languages can be excluded.
Twitch, Kick and Discord workflow
A streamer can use Lingo Echo on Twitch, connect a Kick channel, and configure Discord translation. Twitch and Kick conversations can also be bridged during a multistream. Platform behavior remains separately controllable rather than forcing every community into one identical configuration.
Moderation and channel controls
Optional moderation can act on unwanted chat while translations continue independently. Streamers control ignored languages and users, feature switches, custom commands and timed messages. Moderator status is recommended on Twitch when restrictive chat modes would otherwise stop the bot from replying.
Custom messages for more Twitch events
Beyond its five AI-generated alert types, Lingo Echo can send a streamer-written chat message for 25 additional Twitch stream and chat events. Messages support common and event-specific variables, can be enabled separately for Twitch and a connected live Kick chat, and do not require an OBS overlay. Kick delivery mirrors the Twitch-triggered event, giving multistream communities the same timely update without requiring the streamer to duplicate the automation in another tool.
